Hi, I'm Amanda.

I help leaders achieve results by earning trust and buy-in from their teams.
 

Over more than 20 years in corporate leadership roles spanning communications, culture and change, I’ve seen how often leaders need to deliver ambitious outcomes through other people.


And I’ve seen how quickly things start to break down when a team isn’t fully with them.


I coach leaders who want stronger results but know pushing harder won’t get them there. My work helps leaders build trust, create alignment and motivate people to work with them – instead of quietly against them.

My Philosophy

Influence is built on trust and belief.

People need to trust you. And they need to believe you’re someone worth following.


When trust and belief are missing, performance suffers. People may comply, but they don’t fully commit.
 

One of my core beliefs is that leadership is shaped not only by what you ask of people, but by how they experience you. In everyday interactions, leaders are constantly revealing what matters to them, shaping the environment around them and influencing how people feel. That’s why my coaching focuses so strongly on how leaders show up.

 

Because when trust grows, influence deepens. And when influence deepens, better results become possible.

My Story

I've learned that how you lead sets the ceiling on what your team can achieve.

For more than two decades, I worked at the intersection of people and performance in corporate leadership roles. As a communications and culture leader, I had a front-row seat to how leadership is actually experienced inside organizations, especially during change.


I saw the pressure leaders carry and the complexity they navigate. I also saw how often smart, capable leaders were expected to deliver ambitious outcomes in environments shaped by uncertainty, fatigue, politics and competing priorities.


Over time, I noticed a pattern. Some leaders had clear ambition, strong ideas and real accountability for results, but still weren’t getting what they needed from their teams. Execution slowed. Ownership weakened. Engagement dropped. People did what was asked, but they weren’t fully committed.


What stood out to me was that the issue usually wasn’t capability. It was influence.


The leaders who inspired the strongest followership weren’t the loudest or the hardest-driving. They were the ones who built trust, understood what mattered to their people and created the conditions for others to believe in where they were going.


That insight changed how I thought about leadership and eventually led me to coaching.

Why I coach

I believe ambitious leaders achieve more when they choose to lead in a deeply human way.

You don’t need to become softer, smaller or less ambitious to lead well. But there comes a point when authority and pressure stop creating the results you want.

 

Especially in times of change, leaders need more than compliance. They need trust. They need buy-in. They need people who want to work with them.


I help leaders look beneath the surface of team performance, understand what may be getting in the way and shift how they lead to create stronger alignment, motivation and follow-through.
